Prairie Pride is a mixture made of native species that are dominant on the prairies. It is designed for areas where it is desirable to establish a permanent ground cover with native grass. Prairie Pride is a suitable choice for a wide spectrum of conditions as it is tolerant to drought, salinity and alkalinity. Composition: 30% western wheatgrass, 25% northern wheatgrass, 25% slender wheatgrass and 20% green needle grass.
Recommended seeding rate: 8 Ibs. to 12 Ibs./ac., depending on field conditions.
